We accept all PPO insurance plans!
Most insurance is accepted upon approval. We encourage you to reach out to your carrier when you initiate care here to familiarize yourself with the limits of your policy with regard to acupuncture coverage. Although we will often submit a claim to insurance companies on behalf of our patients, if your insurance requires you to pay a co-payment or deductible, this amount is due at the time of service. If a carrier denies payment for services for any reason, the patient will be held accountable for those charges.

Coverage depends on individual’s plan. We can verify treatment coverage with your date of birth and member’s ID on your insurance card. Verification usually takes up to 2 days.
Medicare insurance & Medi-Cal insurance coverage
- Medicare Part A and Part B do not cover acupuncture at this time. In general, Medicare supplemental insurance plans will not cover treatments unless Medicare does. There are sometimes exceptions to this generality, please feel free to call the office to find out about your particular plan!
- Medi-Cal has reimbursements that are too low to cover our costs and thus we cannot accept Medi-Cal.
But we only accept the Local Medi-Cal Program such as CalViva Health and Anthem BC Medical.
